Origins and Endings: Endings. Officially closing Leeds Lit Fest 2020, International Writer in Residence Diane Cook will present ‘The Outlander Manifesto’, a review of this year’s Festival through her eyes and a provocation for the Festival in 2021. Come and hear Diane’s thoughts, observations and challenges and how Leeds Lit Fest might respond to the complexities and opportunities faced by contemporary culture.

Diane Cook is the author of the novel, The New Wilderness, and the story collection, Man v Nature which was a finalist for the Guardian First Book Award, the Believer Book Award, and the Los Angeles Times Art Seidenbaum Award for First Fiction. 

This event is a partnership event with Leeds Lit Fest and Leeds Beckett University and supported by The British Council.
